Employee Relations Advisor, Milton Keynes
Due to growth, our client is currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking commissioned employment investigations which includes code of conduct, work performance, right to work, fraud and grievances etc. to name a few. You will oversee this from receipt of the allegation or concern, through to making representations at hearings and tribunals as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex cases, such as disciplinary grievances and appeals
- Work closely with the Case Manager and ER Business Partner to document each investigation, ensuring the information is reviewed regularly and amended as appropriate
- Send weekly updates on completion times for each case, advising the Case Manager of findings etc.
- Successfully handle issues with disputes appropriately and within a timely manner
Criteria:
- Previous experience as a ER Advisor is essential
- CIPD L5 qualification would be desirable
- Proven knowledge of HR policies and UK Employment Law
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
